KILOHERTZ TRACKING DEVICE

{short description of image}The Kilohertz Tracking Device is an optical positioning sensor, having a response speed higher than 2 kHz and a spatial resolution better than 15 µm. The device is packaged into a module and its working distance is preset ranging from centimeters to meters.

This Kilohertz Tracking Device projects an IR illumination beam onto a reference disk, which is attached onto a moving object to be tracked. Outputs from the device are analog signals proportional to x-y position of the moving object. One direct application of the Kilohertz Tracking Device I is to track movement of subject eye during a refractive laser surgery.
