SPECKLE FREE LASER

md lasers speckle free laserThe Speckle Free Laser is an ideal replacement of laser or SLD for ophthalmic wavefront instruments or other spot image applications. It employs a spatial phase modulator in a laser beam path. The spatial phase modulator modifies the relative phase across the beam and randomizes it rapidly in a time sequence, while maintaining the beam quality close to diffraction limit. As a result, the laser beam is substantially free of speckles when its spot image is recorded with a CCD camera.
